Dwarf zinnia “Thumbelina” (Zinnia elegans) will introduce natural beauty into each garden. It comes in many bright colours and dazzles with its single or double flowers until first frosts. This low growing plant, reaching 15 to 20 cm in height, is an broadly spreading annual that blooms abundantly. Only blue is missing from the colour palette of its blooms. It fits onto low borders, flower beds and edgings. Just plant it where colour is sorely missed and you will have a bright, cheerful spot. It can also be grown in containers and boxes on balconies and terraces.

Zinnia seeds available in our online store should be sown at home in early spring. As soon as the spring is in full swing and the sun would have warmed the soil, we can transplant seedlings outside. Zinnias love the sun and high temperatures, what makes transplanting possible only after the Ice Saints. These plants are rather undemanding and like light soils rich in nutrients.

Each package contains 1 g of “Thumbelina” dwarf zinnia seeds. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
